Long Term Care

If you would like to register or receive additional information, please contact Chicago Nannies at 708-524-2101, by email on our contact page to request new client registration forms.

Our Process

 1.    Client Registration & Review - Upon receipt of your application, we will set up a time to discuss what qualities are important to you in a caregiver. We will review the application and develop a family profile and job description, paying close attention to family value systems, culture, and other important factors that contribute to your lifestyle. We will discuss information on current hiring trends, compensation package, tax-employment law, and best practices for retaining your employee long term.

2.     Search/Recruitment - Chicago Nannies, Inc. undertakes an in-depth look at potential nannies, referring only those who meet your family's unique needs. Nanny placement agencies often simply match objective criteria from a family’s application with that of a prospective nanny without ever getting to know the family. Chicago Nannies process is unique in that we invest the time to get to know both families and nannies. This enables us to truly make a perfect match. We refer only ideal candidates, cutting down on the amount of time you need to spend reviewing applications and interviewing.

3.     Referral Process - After we have identified candidates whom we believe match your needs, we will send you resumes, letters of recommendation and  answer any questions you have about the candidates' backgrounds. If, after interviewing a candidate, you wish to offer them the position, Chicago Nannies, Inc. is available to assist you in developing the terms of the offer and in negotiating the same with the candidate.

4.      Hiring - We create a sample employment agreement that accurately reflects your needs, setting you up for long term success.  An employment physical, requested vaccines and background checks are conducted and provided to you for review . We offer a robust array of background check options that can be customized to meet the needs of your family. Our standard background check package includes: a social security trace through the credit bureau to verify your caregiver's name and social security number and provide aliases and residence history; felony and misdemeanor checks for all aliases and counties of residence going back a minimum of seven years; driving record; and sex offender registry.

5.      Long Term Support and Success - At Chicago Nannies, Inc., we believe the foundation to our success is rooted in the strong relationships we build. This relationship does not end when you hire; we are here to provide ongoing support and address your needs as they arise.

6.    6 Month Guarantee - The most important aspect of our process is the long term fit and happiness of the employees and families that we work with. With this in mind, we offer both a refund option and replacement option, giving you added peace of mind when you hire through Chicago Nannies. Please refer to Referral Agreement or contact agency for details.
